Fabulous Foodie Fridays #60

FFF #60

Happy Fabulous Foodie Fridays lovelies!

Sadly this is the last week I will be saying those words to you. I have decided to hand in my FFF co-hosting reins :(

WHY???? My little family is my number 1 priority (as I know would be the case for all of you guys too), lately blogging has been taking me away from them a little more than I would like. A few months ago when Zadada hurt his back the lovely Sammie from The Annoyed Thyroid shared some wise words with me, she said  ‘remember you can do anything but you can’t do everything!’ It’s taken me a few months but I now know I have to reel things in, just a little.

To the lovely Lauren & Lucy thank you for inviting me along to be part of the FFF journey, (as I’ve told you both) it really does sadden me to be handing in my co-hosting reins, I couldn’t imagine working with 2 more kind, generous and talented ladies than the both of you. You amaze and inspire me every time I have contact with you whether it be viewing your blogs, social media pages or just a general conversation we share.

Bloggers every week of this co-hosting journey has been so very rewarding, you’re such a gorgeous bunch accepting me as a co-host and engaging with my posts each week. Don’t think I’m going to become a stranger around FFF’s just because I’m no longer co-hosting, I love Fabulous Foodie Fridays and will continue to be an active linker like the rest of you.

I won’t waffle on too much more but from the bottom of my blogging heart, THANK YOU all for being so lovely!

Now this wouldn’t be a Fabulous Foodie Fridays post without my Fabulous Foodie Five, so here they are……..

Go Eat And Repeat  had me at ‘Holiday’ with this delicious looking Holiday French Toast Casserole, I think this would make the best winter warmer dessert and if someone served it up to me for breakfast, OMG I’d be tap dancing on my seat.

Erin Made This inspired me to go and purchase some Chai teabags with this  Chai Hot Chocolate of hers! I’m just loving the thought of warm spices paired with a delicious hot chocolate. I think tomorrow night will be the night for spicing things up a bit, that’s the drink  Zadada 😉

There was no way I was leaving out this treasure of a dish by The Annoyed Thyroid ,this Chicken Pie with Creamy Mash was made at our place earlier this week by Miss 4 and I, you can see a snippet here. It was so tasty and will definitely star again, very soon on our dinner menu.

I couldn’t close off my last week of FFF’s without paying tribute to my 2 beautiful co-hosts……..

Create Bake Make  sharing this delicious Hearty Tomato & Vegetable Soup which I couldn’t resist but to make last week, and until then I hadn’t made a tomato soup from scratch, this recipe was definitely the right one to make, so yummy and filling! It freezes really well too, Zadada and I ate the last of it for dinner after work on Wednesday this week.

  2. I will miss you each Friday! I also know that it takes one strong and smart woman to be able to re-assess priorities and put the most important things first when needed. I was always told to think of life like juggling balls. Work and hobbies are bouncing balls that can be dropped and picked up as often as needed, but family and health are glass balls that chip a little any time they are dropped. I forever remember that, even if I am a terrible juggler.

I will still be hanging out over here watching your delicious creations come to life! xx
