Fabulous Foodie Fridays #55

Fabulous foodie Fridays #55

Hello lovely ones and welcome to week 55 of Fabulous Foodie Fridays.

Thought I’d give you an update and another little overshare from my this weeks Zamama adventures.

The update…. I’m still pulling ‘that face again’ according to my girls but they’ve not yet managed to capture it to show me.

This weeks little overshare comes to you courtesy of our Miss 4 who on Tuesday morning calmly mentioned that she had sore legs and wouldn’t be able to run in MY boot camp session (because she is so the one that does the work out, not!) I’m thinking maybe she was tapping in to her Mum’s own thoughts, the good news is I did manage to run, well sort of and Miss 4 managed to eat the contents of her lunchbox while supervising me from the kids corner. I tell you she comes out with something that makes me smile everyday as well as something that makes me want to drink wine everyday too (but I don’t, not everyday!).

I love how Fabulous Foodie Fridays rolls around so quickly each week, bringing a whole new batch of delicious edible treasure! Our gorgeous linking bloggers, you guys are awesome! I’ve been finding new meal and treat inspiration every week, love it!

Last week was no exception to the ‘delicious edible treasure’ statement and on that note here are my Fabulous Foodie Five…..

Easy Bacon and Caramelised Onion Tart from Treat yourself Sweeter. I know for a fact that one of my gorgeous readers (Mr Luke) made this for his family last Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed it. I can’t wait to give it a whirl myself.

bacon tart

Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Tart from Sweetest Menu. Is there anything better than a Sweet and Salty Dessert?! Such a delicious Combination. There are pretzels in that base, love this girls style and taste, amaaaazing!

caramel tart I love, love ,love Brownies. I’ve never met a person who didn’t like brownies (like does attract like). These Milk Chocolate Brownies from Bindybee are little squares of edible heaven. My mouth is watering just thinking about them.

Next time Zadada and I are entertaining I know a new beverage I’ll be testing out thanks to Flavours and Frosting with her Sangria Smoothie Recipe .

And with all the sweetness I do need to balance things out with a little bit of savoury deliciousness. I haven’t cooked with fresh beetroot for ages so this Roasted Beetroot Dip with Sumac Pita Crisps from Scribe & Spoon is going to solve that little dilemma of mine perfectly.

Have you experienced a moment this week you’d like to overshare? (Go on…. make me feel half normal).

Don’t forget to pop over and check out Lucy and Lauren’s favourite picks too!

Wishing you all a delicious, safe and happy weekend ahead.

It’s now over to all our Foodie bloggers……

YOU’RE INVITED!

Lauren from Create Bake Make , Lucy from Bake Play Smile and Dannielle from Zamamabakes have put their chocolate filled minds together, to bring you the newest and yummiest link up party in town…. Fabulous Foodie Fridays.

  11. Haha! Love how Miss 4 lets you know she won’t be doing YOUR boot camp session. Nothing like a bit of supervision form a 4 year old!
I remember when I tried Sumac for the first time – it was like an out of earth experience! Loved it so much! And with beetroot dip! YUMMO!
