Fabulous Foodie Fridays #51

Fabulous Foodie Fridays 51

Hello and welcome back to another delicious week of Fabulous Foodie Fridays.

Last week we had so much deliciousness linked up, thank you bloggers, I’m sure this week is going to be exactly the same. FFF’s really is such a great inspiring Foodie time of the week!

Just for giggles before I share my mouth-watering picks for the week I thought I’d share a 4-year-old moment from earlier this week…….. I took Alani to a Playschool concert which was fantastic, it went for 45 minutes which was the perfect amount of time for little people’s concentration capacities.

My only dilemma with the whole outing was the fact that the merchandise stand was inside the concert room with us (great marketing there Playschool!) And a certain little poppet discovered that fact about 2/3 of the way through the concert, so by the end of the concert she had well and truly eyeballed off and set her heart on the Jemima Ballerina Doll, that was fine (I had full intentions of treating her) the purchase was made and everyone was happy.

Jemima was held onto very securely as we walked outside. Alani then decided she needed a snack and she knew I had a stash in my handbag, I pulled out some cheese and bikkies and as I did she said ‘Mum can you hold my Vagina’ (handing me Jemima!!!), well we looked at each other and had quite a giggle and ever since I haven’t been able to hold a straight face when I look at this pretty little ballerina doll, I can’t get her new name out of my head!

Now getting back to those mouth-watering picks, our bloggers are so talented, it really is hard to narrow it down to just 5 but here’s where my taste buds led me this week…..

I’ve been wanting to make a batch of Homemade Natural Muesli for ages. Country Life Experiment has got me feeling very inspired and has well and truly prompted me to start ‘doing’ with this recipe of hers, the ingredients are on the list ready for my next grocery shop!

Any dough recipe that says yeast free (which to me means no fancy pants required, tick, tick) gets my attention 100% and yeast free aside, how good do these Cinnamon Scrolls Look from Create bake Make? Ahhhhhhmaaaazing! They are on my must bake sooner rather than later list.

Champagne and Chips shared this amazing looking Spelt Ricotta Gnocchi that she made for her love, I think that is just so lovely and romantic.  I’m loving the slightly lower carb idea of ricotta instead of potato in the mix and that brown butter, oh yum! Do you think if I email this post link to Zadada maybe he might whip me up a batch?

Figs I love, I’m always on the hunt for delicious ways to use them. Lila Wolff definitely has me very interested in this fabulous looking Fig and Lemon Cake she made. The bonus is it’s also friendly to those who are dairy free. Perfection on a plate.

Boiled Eggs And Soldiers with Rhubarb, Rhubarb, Rhubarb – 1 bunch 3 ways , we’re talking a compote, cordial and a syrup for Prosecco (I LOVE PROSECCO!!!) so even though the first 2 sound absolutely delicious I know where I’m going to be starting with this little treasure!
