Fabulous Foodie Fridays #43

Can you believe it’s that super, sharing, delicious time of the week again? (I’m doing a little dance in my head right now!)

Last week……Oh my goodness!!

So many delicious temptations right under my nose, I only wish I could reach into my computer screen and pull out every single one of the 65 recipes we had linked up last week (‘The Jetsens’ come to mind, do you remember the cartoon? It was one of my favourites when I was little), surely one day this notion will have to become a reality, I’d like to think so anyway (A Zamama can dream can’t she?)

For now I think Fabulous Foodie Fridays is the next best thing, you at least get to see what you want to eat, on-screen and then the recipe is just one click away, love it!

Speaking of Recipes, here’s my favourites from last weeks link up…….

Peachy Keen Mumma brought my attention to some little treasures I hadn’t heard of before, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Lactation Cookies (AKA Boobie Bikkies) little creations to help aid that milk supply! How I wish I had known about these when I was a breastfeeding Mumma. A great gift idea for new Mums.

Lime & Mortar well and truly had my 9-year-olds attention with her Marshmallow Choc Pops! The request has been made for a ‘school holiday kidlets in the kitchen adventure’.

And while I’m on the topic of kidlets I know my 3 would happily enjoy a round of The Annoyed Thyroid’s Fish Fingers, the smashed peas I’m not so sure about as we can be fussy little eaters when it comes to the colour green! Zadada and I would certainly make up for that shortfall 😉

Pretty Wee Things had me whipping up her Best Asian Inspired (sugar free) dressing last night. My Salad bowl didn’t look anywhere near as pretty as PWT’s and I did add a few strips of Baked Salted Caramel Chicken Thigh, but OH MY GOODNESS this dressing is the goods lovelies, you have to try it!

There is many a night (especially on weekends) where Zadada sits down and says ‘what’s for sweets?’ I can’t wait for the next time I’m totally unprepared and he asks this question, I’ll say ‘give me 5 minutes’ and surprise him with one of Love Swah’s, Microwave Chocolate Cupcakes for Two.

Don’t forget to pop over and check out Lucy and Lauren’s favourite picks too!

I wish you all a delicious and safe weekend ahead.
