Easter Pizza Triple Choc Bark

Easter Pizza Triple Choc Bark

With Easter being just days away I couldn’t resist but to jump on the Easter Chocolate Bark Wagon, I mean seriously what’s not to love?

I decided to Triple Choc things up with some Milk, White and Dark Chocolate and THEN added just a little bit MORE sweetness with treasure like m&m speckled Easter eggs, marshmallows and Cookies & Cream Pods. Anymore chocolate and I think it would be overdone, heheheh NEVER!!!  Overdone doesn’t exist for this little treasure, you should squish as much as you possibly can into this Easter Pizza Triple Choc Bark.

My favourite part of making this Bark is swirling the milk and white chocolate together, there’s something very therapeutic when it comes to playing with food chocolate, a bit like finger painting without getting your hands dirty.

And my second favourite part is eating the offcuts when you slice the bark up, there’s crunch, there’s chewiness and there’s so much chocolate, oh it’s good.

These little Bark pieces are going to find their way to some beautiful teachers today and tomorrow, the kidlets have been read the right act, ‘no taste testing between drop off and gift giving!!’

Now for my weekly KEEPING IT REAL update………

  • I’m definitely feeling the effects of consuming a little more chocolate than usual but I wouldn’t have it any other way! I take full responsibility for my actions and will endeavour to healtherise myself a little after Easter!
  • I run the gauntlet with time A LOT, running early is not one of my talents and I have a 7-year-old who’s been driving me nuts this last week every morning asking, ‘are we going to be LATE Mum?’, I respond by taking a deep breath and saying no we will be on time (in my books that means we arrive to school as the bell rings, she sees it as late!). I really need to get my act together one of these years!
  • Toilet conversations were popular this week with one threenager and Moodle Betty stalking me, it really is the place to be….. Alani had her 20 questions happening….’How do we talk out our mouthers (mouths) Mum?’, ‘How do we breath?’, ‘How does Betty breath?’…  (please tell me you get the toilet chats too!)
  • Work, Parent teacher interviews and swimming all happening on the same day = a dinner treat from the golden arches! (because sometimes you have to keep your sanity).
  • Getting told there’s poo caught up near Betty’s butt hole, yes I’m a jack of almost all trades including dog depooperer!
  • And I’ll leave you with this comment from the threenager (she turns 21 , I mean 4 next week)….…..’Mum when’s dinner, I’m starving me guts out!’ (I give full credit to Zadada for that one), I did have to ask her to repeat what she said as I picked my jaw up off the floor! Never a dull moment I tell you.

What’s been REAL in your life this week? Been overdosing on chocolate like me, running early or on time? Who’s been keeping you company in the toilet? Do make me feel normal, I’d love to hear from you.

Until the next time……

  7. Lol. That last par cracked me up. Aren’t they hilarious with what they come out with sometimes?! Your toilet conversations reminded me of Miss Two this week. She wanted to sit on a stool and watch me in the shower on the weekend. I had major panda eyes as I was taking my make up off and she said with real enthusiasm, ‘I love your eyes mummy!’ I cracked up. This pizza/bark thingo looks to die for. I’ve been really good on the no sugar lately, but I will definitely be indulging over easter. I think the girls would love to make this one with me. Have a lovely easter x
